It’s what you do every day that’s going to create those short-term and long-term results. You may not get great results in the short-term, but long-term, if you do what I teach you, you will succeed. It’s inevitable.
It’s abnormal for someone to have instant success in network marketing and it’s very normal to struggle. It’s very normal to have a bad day, a bad week, or even a bad month or year. This is especially true when you’re new.
We’ve been in the network marketing industry now for 16 years and we’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Built offline, we’ve been online, we’ve been in start-ups, we’ve been in established companies and we’ve had companies get shut down.
We’ve been through the ringer, but we’ve also experienced what it’s like to make six figures in a year and even six figures in a month.
Here we just want you to understand that we’ve been there, done that, and got the T-shirt, so we can probably relate to you. In this video, we want to give you a shortcut, aka. the 7 daily tasks to help you make more money in your business.
7 Daily Tasks to Create Success in Network Marketing
- Create One Piece of Valuable Content Daily
Put out something that people can say thank you for because you shared something to help them. Do you have to brand yourself in order to achieve success in network marketing? The answer is no but I do believe it gives you a huge advantage in this day and age to have a great online presence. Even if you do lots of face-to-face belly to belly meetings, people are going to go home and look you up. They may even look you up right there at the meeting on their phone. What’s the fastest way to build an authority brand? Consistently putting out valuable content to help your audience.
- Start 5-10 Conversations Every Day
Start 5 to 10 conversations every day with people you haven’t ever talked to or haven’t talked to in a while. You can wish people “Happy Birthday”, you can just randomly talk to people, or you can pay attention who’s liking and commenting on your stuff.
Don’t over think this. Just start 5 to 10 conversations every day. I don’t care if you’re part-time or full-time. This doesn’t take that much time. You’ve got to get better at communicating and you have to be more proactive in starting conversations.
People will say to me all the time that they are posting stuff and no one’s liking. I say, great. Now roll up your sleeves. If you’re in network marketing, you need to proactively reach out to humans every single day.
- Check in on Your Group Chats
Are you using the power of group chats in your business? Instead of doing 3-way calls, you can chat with multiple people inside Facebook messenger. You can use your upline to help you close your prospect or you can have accountability chats with your teammates.
How to Start a Group Chat:
- Log into the Messenger app with your Facebook account.
- Tap the “New Message” button.
- Add a person to the conversation.
- Add more people to create a group conversation.
- Type your message (or record an audio) that you want to send to the group.
- Send the message when you’re satisfied with it.
- Follow UP
The fortune is in the follow-up. I’m very organized. I have a follow-up book. Every time I meet with someone, every time I I share my business, every time I share my product, they go in that follow-up book. Then I also set reminders for myself to remind me to follow up with those people.
Now, don’t be annoying and follow up with the same person every single day. You become needy and desperate. There’s a right and a wrong way to follow up. I am very on top of someone when I first expose them, but the more excuses they give me and the less interested they are, I start spacing out my follow-ups until eventually I just say,
- “Hey, listen, it seems like now’s not a good time. Would you like me to follow up with you in a week, a month, a year?”
Or I’ll say,
- “Look I’m just going to cross you off my list for now”, and sometimes that will actually light the fire under them to get started.
Assume the best. Don’t assume they’re not interested, assume the timing isn’t the best. If you’re not exposing enough people, then you don’t have enough people to follow up with. So, I need you to think about that.
- Personal Development
Personal development should be a must. Your biggest issue is right in between your ears. If you go through the numbers and you work on yourself, you build your reputation and your skills to develop that network, you’re going to make money. It’s inevitable.
Success is a learnable skill. You can learn to succeed at anything. If you want to be a great golfer, you can learn how to do it and if you want to be a great piano player, you can learn how to do it. If you want to be truly happy, you can learn how to do it. Consequently, if you want to be rich, you can learn how to do it. It doesn’t matter where you are right now. It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from. What matters is that you are willing to learn.
- Sweat Every Day
I go to the gym or I find a way to sweat every day. I even bought a desk treadmill. “Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states.” – Carol Welch
- Engage on Social Media
If you’re creating engagement online, drop some of your favourite ways to create engagement in the comments below. Where do you like engaging with people? I just engage with my newsfeed, and I’m always networking, always meeting people and connecting with people. I think it’s imperative that you see the value in putting yourself out there.
If you want more likes and comments, so does everyone else! You have to look at it like the law of reciprocity. If you give more likes and comments, you’ll get more likes and comments.
Hard truth: it’s your business, nobody’s going to build it for you. Just like I have to go to the gym. Nobody’s going to do my push-ups for me, unfortunately. It’s just not going to happen. Same thing in your business. Nobody’s going to build your team for you.
Feel free to share this with anyone who might enjoy it and also comment below on your favourite tip or your biggest takeaway.
We can’t wait to see your comments!
